High-quality 450sqm Office Fit-out

The facility was established to provide an office space with meeting rooms for a company that delivers professional services.

Ardent Architects engaged City Facilities Management (City) for a repeat fit-out for the same building to deliver floors, ceilings, wall construction, high-quality finishes, bathroom upgrades, new kitchens, power services, and breakout spaces incorporating high-end security to meet client requirements.

Our Approach

Before the project commenced, our team evaluated the project scope, design requirements, budget and schedule to ensure we could meet client requirements with innovative, tailored and cost-effective solutions.

During the construction stage, we faced a compressed timeline due to the client needing the space for their team members sooner than expected. Leveraging our industry knowledge and our experience with health and safety systems and processes, we were able to adjust our ways of working and continue the project while team members returned to the office.

Throughout the project, we maintained our ‘Think Safe’ approach by putting health and safety first. We also adhered to the Victorian Building regulatory framework and National Construction Codes, implementing robust safety measures, including safe access, stairwells, signage, and wayfinding. Daily monitoring was undertaken to ensure the site remained safe for our client and our team members during construction.

Outcome

City successfully delivered a 450 sqm office fit-out over two (2) levels to a compressed schedule, with the project completed in six (6) weeks, while the client’s team members were on site.
